Pivot Technology School is excited to partner with Shipt to provide 30 full scholarships to adults looking to pivot their careers by learning how to code during a remote 20-week coding bootcamp that starts in early August.
Two programs available
Data Analytics
The technology boom of the last 20 years has generated more information than organizations know what to do with, and they need people to analyze the data and put it to use to make solid business decisions. Students will learn how to collect and store data on sales numbers, market research, logistics, linguistics, or other behaviors.
Software Development
Software developers are the creative, brainstorming masterminds behind computer programs of all sorts. Students will learn to build robust and dynamic websites. Students get hands-on practice designing web pages with CSS3 and HTML5.
Upon completion of both the application and assessment, someone from our admissions team will contact you with the next steps, including an interview with the Shipt team. Applications close at 5:00 pm Central on 7/1/21 for external candidates and at 5:00 pm Central on 7/6/21 for current Shipt Employees.
If you are accepted, you will be expected to attend orientation on Wednesday, August 4th in Birmingham, Alabama. We can accommodate special requests to attend virtually on a case-by-case basis. Classes start on Monday, August 9th and graduation is the week of December 13th, 2021.
Schedule
Part-time, 4 nights a week and some weekends.
Professional Development: We provide mentors, mock interview support, resume reviews and subject matter expertise.
Space is limited and each bootcamp has 15 seats available.
